RE: Latest purchase?
You can actually find a lot of deals on desk-side parts which is one benefit to owning such a system. I have stored up a significant amount of parts for my systems thanks to this

I'm the system admin of this site. Private security technician, licensed locksmith, hack of a c developer and vintage computer enthusiast.

https://contrib.irixnet.org/raion/ -- contributions and pieces that I'm working on currently.

https://codeberg.org/SolusRaion -- Code repos I control

Technical problems should be sent my way.

Nice! Is it the version with 1MB or 2MB secondary cache?

These things really make the deskside Onyx come to life. You've got only one CPU slot to play with so you might as well stick 4 * R10Ks in it. The system has plenty of bandwidth.

Only 1mb 195mhz, probably one reason it wasn't more expensive.
But yes, big improvement on my 4x 4400s 👍

A nice ornament for my desk! (I've placed it at the base of my Mac's monitor!)

I don't like all of Swarovski's stuff, but every now and then, they produce something that appeals to me!

A IndigoUSB and a PCI-E ethernet card, as my onboard ethernet won't work.

Edit: The PCI-E is for my main Rig which is a HP z420 workstation. As I don't own a Fuel.
