Wacom Cintiq 18sx and SGI Octane -
tamtamx - 02-16-2020
Hi guys, I'm trying to get a video signal on my wacom cintiq 18sx connected to an Ocane 1 but no luck so far. I've tried a dVI-I cable that supports digital and analog signal to connect it to the octane 1 via a dvi to 13w3 adaptor.
No signal and it gives a message saying "Cable Disconnected going to power save mode".
I have to mention that I am getting a signal on my Tezro though just to confirm that the cintiq is functional.
Anyone an idea what I might be missing?
Thanks in advance.

You think? I made sure it's a wacom cintiq model that came out around the time as the octane roughly 1999-2000.

18sx owner here. Can confirm mine works on my O2, so this should take SoG. Could be the 13w3 to DVI. The O2 uses VGA, so for an Octane I think the 13w3 has to be stepped to VGA then to DVI?

Yeah thats what I'm doing basically. I have a vga to 13w3 adapter and then I tried either a vga to dvi but there is already also a vga cable attached to the cintiq which I tried but same issue. I seem to be missing something.
