The Consoles that you own and wish to own?
For now, my console collection consists of: a Net Yaroze PS1, PS2, three PS3's, one of which is the 60GB backwards compatible and one of which is the super slim model, a PS4 Pro, a PS5 Disk Version, a Nintendo 64, two different SEGA Mega Drive one's, a SEGA Saturn and a SEGA Dreamcast.

Own: Playstation 2 (slim one).

Wish to own one day: PS1, PS3, GP2X. But I have to play first all the games which I got for the PS2...
I am no longer posting from the moose, SGI O2 with R10k/250, 1GB RAM,  IRIX 6.5.27, unfortunately.

Oh, let's see:
  • Atari 2600
  • AV Famicom (got this for playing around with Famicom Disk System games, back in the days when I had a PC I could run FDSLOADR on...need to try that again...and of course for the good version of Castlevania III.)
  • NES/SNES combo clone (one of the later Yobo ones that are actually halfway-decent.)
  • SNES (primarily for Kirby Superstar, which has a clever little lockout mechanism and doesn't run on clones.)
  • Sega Genesis (model 2) and Sega CD (which currently needs a fuse replaced before it'll run...need to get around to that.)
  • Sega Saturn
  • Sony Playstation (PSX re-release model.)
  • Nintendo 64
  • Sega Dreamcast
I'd like to get a TurboDuo one of these days, but it's been a while since I've had any serious amount of time for gaming...

I've had many different systems over the years... mainly SEGA and Playstation's. No xBoxen or Nintendo's. Right now I have two PAL Dreamcast's, a couple of Saturns (Jap NTSC and PAL) and a PAL PS3 (60GB backwards compatible) which I have had since 2006 and still regularly play Smile.

Also had a PS1 NetYaroze in the past (wrote a pong clone on it) and currently a PS3 DECR-1000A reference tool (PS3 dev kit with ProDG).

Personally I wouldn't bother with the Pippin. It truly was crap then, and I doubt any better now. Very limited catalogue, plus it would be a fortune if you can find one (check Japanese auctions!).

I wouldn't mind getting an Amiga CD32, Atari Jaguar and MegaDrive (1st model) with 32X and MegaCD (as they were the add-ons I wanted when I had my MegaDrive back in '91...tbh don't think I would have much chance of getting them now :().

but I'm missing the grey fat ps3 and a xbox 360 XDK... but at the moment the costs are too high just for collecting them. I bought my consoles a lot of years ago. Only my X360 collection is growing at the moment as they cost nearly nothing at the thrift stores.

I also need to get the silver PS3! (To complete the PS3 part of my collection.)

In my opinion, the fat PS3 is the best looking PlayStation SONY's produced! (and definitely one of the best looking consoles produced in general!)

@Titox. lol double awesome! I love the size difference between the PS2 Tool and the slim PS2! Have you got the working PS3 reference or PS2 tool setup for development?

@Irinikus. Yes agree, I like the fat PS3's. Remind me of grand pianos for some reason. The shortlived PSX (PS2 + DVD recorder) are pretty smart looking too. Again probably really hard to find these days.

I might add a Treamcast and Dreamcast Katana system to my want list Smile
