Hi ^_^
I am a mathematician (number theory & algebra), systems administrator and UNIX enthusiast. One benefit of being a student is I don't pay for power where I live so I can put to use all sorts of obsolete and inefficient equipment! I claim to use my vast impracticable network of (almost entirely used / recovered) computers for math research (and I really do sometimes!), but mostly I just enjoy tinkering and expanding my technical capabilities with the odd new project. I also have a passing background in system security and hardware. I especially like unusual and non-X86 systems -- SGI, SUN, HP and PPC equipment all fits the bill perfectly!
