Ah, interesting! I've also just now realized that VAX was an acronym, not sure how I'd missed that before.

Hi guys, the disk caddie for the altix 350, 450 & prism are the same ones found in the onyx350 &Tezro which were intel manufacturers I think.

I can confirm that the 2U rackmount bricks from that era (2003 - 2006) like O350 and the A350 use the same type of caddy as the Tezro Tower and the Prism DS use

I have one IA-64 box as well (with the current version of HP-UX installed). HP Integrity BL860c i2 is in fact my only non-x86 UNIX machine that is not older than 10 years. I sometimes use it for running and compiling PA-RISC binaries (for older HP workstations) at work. Other than that, there is not much to do with it. Windows is painfully outdated - old IE (the only native web-browser) cannot open even Microsoft's websites, x86 emulation is super-slow, no graphics acceleration, outdated remote desktop... HP-UX is nice but there is almost no cool software for it. OpenVMS is supported too but I don't expect better situation with software there.
