Yeah that 070-8116-005 part number is a R4000 PROM "SGI Version 4.0.5G Rev B IP20, Nov 10, 1992 (BE)" (https://wiki.preterhuman.net/PROM)

It looks like maybe 4 big chips- are they the GEs?

There are four sockets for GE chips, but that doesn't mean they're always all populated. In case they aren't, a "jumper" is present.

You'll find out soon enough. Just install IRIX and run 'hinv'.

I got my pieces together and got a first boot! Found that I got a 50mhz R4000 and Elan GFX. Nice ebay suprise indeed. HD has nothing on it and is as loud as a jet. I have a SCSI to CF adapter I use on Amiga and Mac that I will try to use in this thing.



My only issue is that the USB-to-SGI keyboard/mouse adapter I got from ebay- keyboard works but no mouse will work!.
