The IRIS Crimson in Jurassic Park had 4 CPU's!!!???
I was watching Jurassic Park this evening and spotted this:

It appears that the IRIS Crimson in the movie was actually an Onyx in disguise!

No, the Crimson didn't even have the 'power on' LED on, so it was a prop.

Behind the scenes they used a ton of PowerSeries and other systems (check the 'making of' on the DVD). The display was probably controlled by one of those

Wasn’t the scene showing all the power series taken from one of ILMs 3 computer rooms used for rendering?

I wonder if the interface was manufactured...  only ‘we’ would noticed these things Biggrin
