Transparent icon labels?
On 6.5.22 when using a solid colour for the background the desktop icon labels adjust to match so that they appear transparent. But if a background image is added they revert to using the main background colour from the colour scheme.
If you center or scale a background image, there is an option to set a background fill colour. However the icon labels won't adjust to match this as they do with a pure solid background.
Is there any way to keep the solid background icon label behaviour while also using an image?
Thinking about this a little more, is there a way to add a centered image as a background outside of using the Background settings panel? Then I could use the background settings just to set the solid colour.
Update: Tried the above but when the image is displayed on the root window the icon labels refresh. I guess drawing an image on the root window is what causes the labels to switch to using the main background colour in the first place.
