So, the archive is uploaded. I downloaded it to have a look around.

It was taken on September 1st, 2016, using HTTrack on the Forums and Wiki. It has content from around then mirrored pretty thoroughly, but it doesn't have content from much before that. Because HTTrack works by following hyperlinks, it will only click a few pages into a given board. That means we have a pretty thorough archive of posts from mid-to-late 2016, and posts back to 2015 where some are missing. Additionally, any post that was linked to in an archived post is also archived. Sadly, this is only a small portion of the forum content.

The wiki archive doesn't load out-of-the-box, as it seems to still try to load stuff from Nekochan servers, but the content and images appear to be there.

Overall, a good archive of the wiki, and a brief snapshot of the forum's content, circa 2016. I think this should be combined with our archive.org approach (see #nekomancy on Discord) to scrape together as much as we can.

Now I see the problem: I can select Page 7 on any forum and can access every post. Pages 8 and the following won't work. The last pages will work again. And of course I tested backwards. Bummer.

Update:
D:\TEMP\Nekochan\Nekochan\forums.nekochan.net has 13.449 working topics html pages spanning from 2003 to 2016. Perhaps there there is everything there, but I overburdened HTTrack's ability to get a working webpage as a result.

Update2:
The main page lists 29.105 topics, so 15.656 have not been copied. :-(

No, I haven't. I don't have that kind of relationship with Pete, so I don't want to bother him. I was a user, nobody of importance and had no right to ask.
