RE: Hello !
That's pretty smart considering you're underage.

You might be from a different generation but to clarify,
on forums we use the term "PM" aka private messages not DM (which is a live chat thing from places like Discord or Twitter) . You are not obligated to respond to any private messages except those from administrators such as if we are communicating to you an infraction or something. We discuss these privately primarily to avoid embarrassment and peanut gallery comments.

Once again welcome to the forums and no worries. I wasn't quite a teenager when I started in the hobby myself but I was close (19).

I understand how it can be getting overwhelmed with these things and if there's any questions or concerns you may do that.

I'm the system admin of this site. Private security technician, licensed locksmith, hack of a c developer and vintage computer enthusiast.

Technical problems should be sent my way.

RE: Hello !
Welcome! Many of us here are a bit older to be honest (there are some notable exceptions!), but mainly because it was often our experiences with SGI machines back in the 90s that fuelled our ongoing passion for them.

For example, I was born in the early 80s, then saw SGI machines in the mid-90s at a virtual reality centre when I would have been maybe 13 years old or so. Compared with basic beige PCs of the time, SGI machines both looked physically beautiful, and could produce 3D graphics that my own PC could only dream about. Hence when I had the opportunity to pick up some free Indy's and an O2 a number of years later, I jumped at the chance.

PS: Raion, technically 19 is still teenager (or at least in the UK it is), hence the nine-teen in the name Smile
