I'm not sure USB is a solution here. Even if it worked with a KVM, those KVMs are usually USB + DVI, so I'd need ps/2->usb and vga->dvi adapter as well. That's a lot of adapters, and my experience with vga->dvi adapters has not been positive so far.

I've got a VGA->HDMI adaptor that works super well with my Octane, and I've also tested it with my HP-UX box and some old ThinkPad, even used it to do captures using a Magewell PCIe HDMI capture card.
I'm travelling now but, if you are interested, I can check make and model once I'm back.

It actually came with my Octane.

What model, please ? I'm looking for a solution for my Octane/Indy.
