RE: What Wacom tablet best for Octane
Thought I would post an update to close this topic. The Wacom drivers for irix accessible fr9m the links I posted above work 100%. Follow in instructions in the link. The installation was very easy. I have been using the intuos2 serial version as there is always some available for sale on the bay. Just make sure you buy one that contains the ac adaptor that plugs into the serial cable.

When you install the irix Wacom drivers, I think you can use any size that the intuos 2 makes. From the Wacom tools icon, you can set everything up. The tablet can substitute the mouse all together if you wanted to use a pen instead of the mouse.

RE: What Wacom tablet best for Octane
Hello

I confirm than on Octane 2 with Irix 6.5.22 a Wacom Intous 2 (serial version) works perfectly with the standard Wacom 4.8.0 drivers. The easiest installation I experienced on a SGI : )
