The skins are necessary to have proper cooling but I'm sorry that this happened to you.

I have shipped indigo2s a couple of times but I won't do it anymore

Thanks Raion, I think your correct that due to the age, the skins are probable more vulnerable to damage from 20 years ago when I got my first indigo2 in a loosely packe bock with towels and some packing direct from SGI Calgary, Canada.. (terrible packing) and it survived with no damage.

I decided to return the shipment as replacing the skins will put this project over budget.
