Hello all.
Been a long time since Nekochan days.
Pureblood here. Still kicking butt.
My computer collection keeps growing, but time and space to store/use/upgrade/play with them shrinks.
Late last year I found a legendary Atari Portfolio in what seemed to be non working condition.  A new set of batteries was all this guy needed to spring back to life.
Another silicon soul saved from the landfill and into my flock. Model is HPC-004 and in mostly good condition (screen hinge is a little loose but nothing a bit of epoxy can't fix).
Sadly, there ain't much I can do with it as the needed interfaces to communicate with a PC must be purchased separately.
Can't believe they left out built in comms.  IR would have been nice.
Bulky compared to the HP palmtops (95LX & 200LX) but then again, no one used those to hack into SkyNet.
The parallel port gadget is quite pricey on eBay, so this guy will have to wait its turn to get some software installed.
Hot rodding the 200LX was a thing back in the day (I have one speed doubled and RAM enhanced).
Does anyone know if such a thing is possible with the Portfolio?
