The first three all look the same to me. The last is noticeably better.

You have to look real close, as the transparencies are lost with caster vs. tracer...

Here's an animated version done on Maya 6.5, colors are nothing like StudioTools, will have to re-work it some to get the same feel.. Also, possible in Power Animator 7-9 but not in StudioTools 10-13, is the ability to animate a glow.. To get this to work right, would need to create about 7-8 textures for the rings and set up and keyframes to hit it sequence to emulate the game ring from glowing as it starts up.. Not too difficult but time consuming without trying to touch it up in post..
