SGI Indy R5000 for sale (with SCSI2SD v6)
NOW SOLD. Congrats to the local buyer!
I'm based in Portland, Oregon, USA and have a locally-owned SGI Indy with 24-bit graphics, 128MB of memory, 150mhz R5000 MIPS processor, and SCSI2SDv6 solid state hard drive with a 32GB Sandisk Extreme U3 card (better than 20+ year old spinning rust!)
Price - $400 (locally) OBO. I've alternately posted on Craigslist to try for a local enthusiast and sale. Preferred payment (locally, cash, but if we need to ship, probably PayPal is the best/safest for all involved)
I've just reinstalled IRIX 6.5.22m onto it as well as some of the modern nekoware packages (bash, etc.) - I can reply with the hinv (hardware inventory). The case is in good shape and has the R5000 'wing' badge on the front.
I can install IndiZone and some of the cool legitimately retro stuff if you'd like. I can include a new-old-stock NMB keyboard (same family as SGI OEM) and Logitech 3 Button Mouse (same family as SGI OEM) and an SGI IndyCam too. I have a 13w3 to HD15 (SVGA) adapter as well.
No cracks, some dust, and happy to provide the spinning hard drive that was originally in it if you'd like to reinstall and hear old school spinning again.
I am in NE Portland and can deliver on a Sunday morning within 20 miles of Portland if you'd like or possibly along the North Coast (Seaside to Tillamook) if you're patient.
If you're alternately interested in an SGI O2, Octane, Octane2, or possibly Sun Microsystems Ultra1, Ultra2, SPARCstation, or similar old weird UNIX system, let me know. This Indy is the first of what I intend to clean up and pass on back to the vintage community.
Thank you - am I the first one to actually post to the marketplace?!

RE: SGI Indy R5000 for sale (with SCSI2SD v6)
Actually - opening it up to my greater collection as there were a couple of inquiries about it:
This is what I've got SGI-wise:
Indy R5000 (as seen in the ad above)
Indy R4400 200mhz with 96GB of memory and a 9GB 7.2K HDD and 24 bit video (latest PROM so you can stick in R5k or other procs if you want to be weird and fun)
Indy R4600 with ??? memory and ?? HDD (I think the power supply is dead) - but has a cool webforce button on it
Two Indigo2's - I think one is R10K Solid Impact. I think both were from Will Vinton Studios (now LAIKA Animation) - I used to work there.
O2 R10K 175mhz with 256MB of memory and a 9GB 10K HDD (w/ AV Module)
O2 R5KSC 180mhz with 128MB of memory and a 9GB 10K HDD (w/ AV Module)
Octane R12000 300mhz with 768MB of memory and a 9GB 10K HDD and 36GB HDD (not sure what speed it is) - ESI graphics
Octane2 which I think has Dual R14000, 2GB memory, 2x72GB 10K HDD internally, external Stone HDD array, DM5 with BOB, Wacom, dark keyboard, dark mouse, mousepad. (Basically a whole Discrete Logic Flame suite without the dongle and widescreen CRT monitor)
I only fully got the Indy up and running, online, clean-installed using the Raspberry Pi booterizer network install method, haven't really had the chance to do the same to the rest of them but shouldn't be difficult.
Accessories/Peripherals:
One IndyCam in complete condition but needing retrobrite to de-yellow
One newer SGI granite keyboard in complete condition but needing retrobrite to de-yellow - NMB OEM
One newer SGI 3-button granite mouse in complete condition but needing retrobrite to de-yellow - Logitech OEM
One beige Compaq-branded but functionally and shape-equivalent PS2 keyboard (no windows keys) - NMB OEM
One beige Logitech shape-equivalent 3-button PS2 mouse
One SGI Sony GDM-17E11 monitor (works great with Indy, O2, or Octane) - probably works well but haven't turned it on lately
Two SCA 2GB 7.2k HDDs originally in the O2s (Too small for a full IRIX 6.5 + Demos + Nekoware install obviously)
Some original install media, IndiZone CDs, maybe some random promo stuff.
Lots of SGI posters, happy to share a selection or the whole go minus duplicates if someone ends up taking the whole lot.
I worked for SGI as an intern and was lucky to get some random stuff but my collection accrued after I left SGI and IRIX was becoming niche.
I need to clear out as I got a new job that provides me with little free time so I need to optimize obligations and balance family time. It is not worth my time to spend an hour to mail out a poster, so please note I'm interested in selling larger 'lots' of the estate.
Thanks!

I would be interested in the 17" Granite monitor if you decide to sell. I would drop it by a UPS store or something and make them pack it up. I would of course pay for all of that plus some extra to cover the PITA to lug it around.
