I can get a proper separate server room with redundant power and connections, plus secure (only 4 people have badges in), but I only wish I had as much INTERNETZ as defaultrouteuk. =)

On a more philosophical matter - I've been screwed up quite badly a few times in life (like when my ex-wife moved to AUS on my money and broke up with me one week after I paid fees for her PhD and some rent out of taking a loan - ugh), but I still find out that "trusting by default" makes me happier.

People will accuse you of being shit and try to cheat anyway, but at least you build more on the good connections.
I understand both sides, this is why I offered buying one of the Origins at market price. At least everyone knows that, well, the maximum that could happen to everyone is that I don't keep my deal of making the machine publicly accessible.

On an even brighter note -
This community doesn't lack the skills or material resources to get this project up and running, and I'm always surprised by how forthcoming in offering assistance of all kinds everyone seems to be.

It's never been a trust thing here really . I just tend to try to be courteous and also forget people's tendency to be very helpful and forthcoming here. It's something I'm not used to at work or IRL.
