Hi all, I am trying to install a SUN XVR100 adapter in a SUN Blade 2000 running solaris 9, unfortunately it seems that this card was supported beginning with Solaris 10 and there is a drivers disk for Solaris 8 and 9. Wondering if any of you gentlemen have a copy of it. Thank you!

I have located this which unless I am wrong is the patch for XVR-100 on Solaris 8 which should work fine on S9 aswell

Good job. I'm looking for the XVR-1000 drivers for Solaris 8. I think they are rolled-into Solaris 9 but for Solaris 8 they were on a driver CD. I don't see any patches (searching MOS is a bit of a chore, though, not sure I'm doing it right) for Solaris 8 and the xvr-1000. Oracle seems to have actively purged a bunch of Solaris 8 stuff.

Sorry that one I have not and after Oracles purchase of Sun all stuff is locked down :(

But, is there any specific reason for running S8?
