"Toolchest*cascadeButtonp.shadowThickness: 0",

That didn't work.

I also checked for every instance of shadowThickness and set it to 0 as well. No dice.

Did you figure that out regarding the title bars?

"Toolchest.clientDecoration: title border",
"Toolchest.clientFunctions: -resize -minimize -maximize",

I tried adding this. No effect on enabling a title bar.

Actually I think the path through the widget tree is toolchest.chest.Menu

welp, ok

I'll give it a go. just was going off fallback_resources -- which is clearly false I guess.

RE: Yet another open source toolchest app
After a lot of thought, I'm abandoning open-toolchest and archiving the repo for the time being -- the reasons being are a few:

1. I think I can fork and modify the toolbox program by alx210 which already closely matches the IRIX version in look and feel.
2. The code for this is baad. Even with vishnu and others helping and offering, I think our time is spent better elsewhere.
3. I'm having to learn when a project needs to be abandoned, and this is part of the whole "maturity" process I guess.
