Adobe Museum Request
Hi Everyone,

A colleague of mine works at Adobe, and he relayed an unusual request to me.

Evidently, there is a small museum dedicated to Adobe Premiere in the Adobe Founders Tower in San Jose, California. They are trying to assemble a collection of all boxed Premiere releases, but they haven't been able to track down any Premiere for IRIX boxes or CD cases.

If you have either and would be willing to discuss transferring it to the museum, I'll be happy to put you in touch with the right person. I have no idea if they have a budget or are looking for donations. Obviously, they'd love to get a full retail package, including media, but I think they'd even be interested in getting temporary access to a box/case so that they can scan the artwork at high resolution and make a mock-up of the packaging.

Please let me know if you can help!

Thanks in advance,
JH

Not so fast, Raion -

I'd exchange it for an eternal license of Photoshop without phone-home activation checks. =)

I have a copy of it in the jewel case, not sure about donating it, but they could make me an offer. I used to have all the Adobe software w/boxes for SGI, but sold most on eBay except for Frame and Premiere.
