Yes it will be a lot of work but how awesome would it be to have usb on a computer from 1997. That's news article worthy.
Does the Firewire/USB card actually have a UHCI controller? My experience is that they used OHCI controllers.
Great catch robes!! So after getting my brain out of cold storage, I looked again and it is an ohci controller (dont do things late at night) and no uhci controller. Luckily on ebay rn VT6212L if you search for 5 Port USB 2.0 High-Speed 480Mbps USB2 you can get them for 4-5 bucks. So mines on the way. I've got the openbsd source now so ill be working on trying to implement some of that. Maybe get ohci too
