KABoing complete

RE: KABoing complete
Nice! Thank you for trying it Irinikus and Shiunbird. Irinikus thanks for going through the trouble with the Indy. I guess I am hoping it runs on an Indy since the Indy was the first SGI I used. Nice to see the screenshots!

Cheers!

It's a pleasure!

I'm sure it will run on an Indy R5000!

Great, thank you!  What type of system have you tried it on?

400mhz R12 o2 - was gonna mention it before but it felt too much like a humble brag lol

I'll probably be pulling out my 5.3 COFF system soon and giving it a go (Indigo2 R4k 250 mhz, Extreme) - I assume IRISGL would work (I mean obviously but I don't know)

I think it will not run.. needs to be compiled again targeted for this machine.

@KayBee may I ask which compiler you used? I keep getting GL ld errors when trying to compile anything with -lgl using gcc by SGUG. Not even TranQuility compiles..

Yeah, so the GL code used by SGUG relies on customized X libraries and other things that someone else here had to deal with. My recommendation is to try with either MIPSPro, or the GCC releases I have authored, especially 4.8.5

There's outstanding bugs in the GCC 9.2 used in RSE.

RE: KABoing complete
no, xenoware does not have anything built with GCC. Xenoware is entirely MIPSPro, and it's far too limited in scope right now for this sort of thing anyways.

Here's 4.8.5 -- it tests the best out of all GCC versions I've built and has little in the way of problems of eating whatever you give it. If it balks, it may need you to symlink binutils to /opt/gcc/bin

I'm gonna tardist sometime soon.
