It's slightly off center because the top bar is the same color as the containers for the buttons -- the padding cannot be changed for each one individually. But that's normal. If it fixes it for you, that's fine.

I logged in using Firefox but all the colors are grey now. Did something change or is there a setting to get back to the look of the forums that Irinikus is showing?

You can click UserCP, Edit Options, and change CrossBB to another option.
