I've been playing with it on my o2 - I had the same fault as you did. I had to play with the render setting for it not to crash. I'll play with your tweaks when I get a chance

Yes, same error here on my Octane2, also check the log file in the dir you run the app from, it is complaining about a lot of missing .so files. I grabbed the other OS specific installers and found they mostly include the missing files, not sure what to make of different OS builds having/not having the same plugin files.
