Diablo-1: DevilutionX open source engine
I've been playing Diablo-1 using the Open Source Diablo-1 Engine: DevilutionX. It's mostly C++ based and compiles using Cmake. On one hand, it looks like it might be a pain in butt because it wants a very new version of Cmake to even get configured. However, it's been ported to a large number of fairly spacey platforms including the Amiga. That gives me some hope that it might be portable to IRIX, too. I've been taking a look at it, but my C++ isn't great. Undecided

It's avaiable with SGUG-RSE.  Drop a message if you need more help.  =)

It's been ported under SGUG-RSE, an RPM-based setup for IRIX. You can ask the personnel behind it about it at their GitHub. They don't really talk or come around here despite previous attempts at reconciliation. Kind of an unfortunate situation that 4-5 years on they continue a bizarre boycott but whatever.

I do have interest getting DevolutionX a tardist, but I've not had time for months to mess with it.

Technical problems should be sent my way.
