I'm not keeping any other physical backups of it, because in the words of my counsel: the more you touch it, the harder it is to claim you've not looked at it. I dumped it off a drive into a tape and have kept it in the same place for years. The tape has a shelf life, undisturbed, of 15 years, and potentially longer. I will not be touching it unless I become an IP holder of IRIX or I get explicit permission from the IP holder in writing to do it.

That's fair. In that case I hope some magical elves crawl in there and make a backup that nobody else knows about.

It's not like what I have is revolutionary or anything. It's not some hidden graphics driver or network driver. It's just slightly newer versions of source that already exists out there.

From the way you described I thought it contained all of the cool graphical stuff like Xsgi, 4Dwm, etc
