Hooray Kaybee. That's a neat demo, one that is very famous on the Commodore Amiga.

I myself have been working on porting some utils to IRIX.

Hey Raion,

Thank you. I think porting utilities and libraries is a form of preservation too, which is important for our aging machines.

Cheers,

Yeah, it's my hope that IRIXCE will have some interest at least and act as a vessel to keep IRIX afloat until we can free it from its run aground prison.

Get it? Because Evergiven.

I was stuck, but I get it now. HA! (The "HA!" to be imagined as being said by Alf from the 80's sitcom.)

Is the source for this available? if so you should attach it as a tar.gz file or something so we can try it out. I don't allow ZIPs or pdfs but that's for security issues (zip files are a notorious source of ACE on web servers)

RE: KABoing alpha
Kaybee,

I'm working on my cross platform benchmark tool - it's pure C and OpenGL. Things look promising, because I managed to run binaries cross-platform without having to rebuild, meaning that I am really only using C and OpenGL and not relying on anything OS-specific for the output.

I don't have access to a SGI machine. Could I share later on with you the source for you to build it and test?

Sorry Shiunbird, I have such little free time I barely get any time to do my own coding. I have to stay focused at the moment.

Hello Again Raion, I can post the compiled binary as tar.gz if that's allowed.

Cheers,
