I didn't need to mess with roboinst. That install file is modified from one on preterhuman. I'm not here to argue about what merits of config management belong where. Maybe the roboinst discussion should be split off into a new thread?

Per my style conventions, all second person and first person stuff was removed and the guide was streamlined. I will of course rework the sections I omitted, and cite the originals.

As far as the main suggestions go, they basically seem down to:

1. Do other OSes. I won't do a Linux or Windows/WSL or macOS guide, so that's wide open for someone. Everything else, I'm all for it when I have time. That was the plan after all.

2. Make sure that you cover edge cases. In fact, this page was going to be revised to add (6.5) once someone advises me how to adapt this for obsolete IRIX versions.

3. Create articles for optional use cases.

These are all reasonable requests that I can help with.

As for the reasons that I won't do Linux, I don't use VMs, and I don't see the point in doing this for an OS that I don't use or have as much familiarity with. I could probably do one for RHEL, but how many of us would find use out of that.

I'm also hesitant to copy guides that are out there (Spinlock, because the author hates me for some reason, and the others because they're originating on the main competitor site). I'm also not using booterizer. Every time I've dealt with parallels or vmware type systems I end up rolling my eyes with "why bother with this rubbish". I know Linux KVM okayish and Xen on NetBSD but those are hardly applicable to normal people.

Thanks to user Linear, we've a pretty decent NetBSD guide. I plan to adapt this to FreeBSD quite soon.
