I'd like to know if anyone has dumped the image file of the static "CPU Eater" wallpaper from their machine? I think it's a neat background and would like to apply it to the Indy I'll be getting this summer. (Picture below is animated version)

I believe what you're looking for is the "SGI Logo" background.  AFAICT it is one of the standard options and should be available as part of a default installation.  Just select it from the list under Toolchest -> Desktop -> Customize -> Background.
