I'm making a thread here just to track major releases of interesting software in RSE that we have staged up onto the remote yum repo "dandyum2" which means you can install it on your SGI (with RSE 007) using just the microdnf command. There is a lot more in our WNA branch for those interested, these are just pre-built packages ready to run.

Sample commands are below:


$ sudo microdnf --refresh install -y claws-mail
$ sudo microdnf --refresh install -y dillo
$ sudo microdnf --refresh install -y devilutionX

Claws = email client for POP/IMAP and supports SSL
Dillo = the infamous browser (a plugin for Claws sort of works, but needs refining)
DevilutionX = Diablo 1 on your SGI (needs data files from the real game see post here on how to get them).

More is in the pipeline as we are constantly working on porting, fixing, packaging and shipping deps and packages.

There is a minium amount of QA work on these, but there is some: they are tested on Fuel and octanes. Everything should start and generally work, however the apps have not been fully tested, that is up to you to help with.
