It's Cineon which is the main problem. Once I pull my network cable, all good.. Tried just about everything I guess. Need to set up a fully qualified name perhaps.

Hi There,

Not sure if I'm jumping in for no reason but this 'could' be a dns lookup *before* a local lookup. In which case you need to edit two files (potentially).

First off, make sure that /etc/nsswitch.conf lists hosts: with 'files' before 'dns'
Second, make sure in your hosts file that the hostname 'IRIS' comes before IRIS.home.

That sound sort it. Maybe
