I'm excited to announce that it's now possible for people to earn membership on IRIX Network. The following methods exist to earn/join:

1. Providing high-quality wiki articles on in-demand topics. (One lengthy, well-written article, high quality images, or other things)
2. Developing in your free time for the community for (TBR) Nekoware II, or any small, independent or collaborative projects. The projects must be open source, public, and engaging or useful to the community. This does not have to be IRIX development. Webdev tools and helper programs are also accepted.
3. A/V content, such as tutorial videos.

Terms:

1. Content should be pre-released a week or more in advance to our premium userbase. There is some flexibility here. 
2. IRIX Network should be the primary (it doesn't have to be the only platform, i.e. Patreon, SubscribeStar etc. is fine, as is other forums, as long as we have some priority) venue for discussion. Again, flexibility here. 
3. Those already holding a membership tier can be "bumped" to the next one.
4. There's a 60-day/2 month grace period for people who have produced more than 6 months of content, but need to lapse for personal reasons. 
5. Generally, releases or general work besides development work needs to equal one release a month. 


A raffle will also be announced later this year. If you're interested, please reach out to me and we can discuss the terms of your membership commitment. If you have a proposal for IRIX Network itself, I'm also open-minded. 


The wiki, for those unaware, doesn't use your forum account. Make an account, preferably with the same ID and username, and let me know. 

Other staff are also capable of helping negotiate this as well, especially if you need something specific.
