Service Disruption 28.03 - Europe IRIXnet
Comrades!

I will be pissing around with the BGP peering to the router holding EU IRIXnet together. The work should not affect the US link(s). I don't expect huge downtime, it'll just be a bit flaky for an hour or so. Sorry for no heads up but actually I didn't plan for this and need to jump on it right away.

I plan to start the work within the next hour or so and I'll update this thread when I'm done.

IMPACT: Europe Only

I actually have no idea how Raion has the site(s) balanced. This private infrastructure has been under his control for a while now but I do believe he has lots and lots of domains and so his eggs may be elsewhere. Either way I'll be sure to keep it at a minimum and let you know when we're back online.

Hey Rich, and I guess everyone else:

The EU server hosts the Wiki, Silicon Image and most of the file storage sites, the archive site etc. The forums, chat server and ftp are not affected by anything in Europe's BGP
