Upgrade O2 to RM5200
Hey Guys,

Does anyone know if there is a specific procedure for upgrading an O2 from an R5k to RM5200? Simply swapping out the CPU doesn't seem to do the trick, as I just get a solid red LED in that case. Perhaps the RM5200 I have is dead? I'm having trouble finding documentation if this is possible, or if a specific version of the mainboard is needed.

Mine was install and go, nothing else had to be done. I did have the latest prom though, so make sure you are up to date with 4.18. I have a first release RevC mainboard, so quite old.

Have you tried the force boot jumper?

Raion was right, just needed a PROM upgrade and it's good to go!
