My ORIGIN 200 has died
Hi

After being off for a couple of months my Origin200 does no longer start, it turns green(flashing) as normal then flashes 3 times red then goes off.

If I then try again, nothing happends, but if I wait for a few minutes the same repeats.

From what I read this indicates PSU failure, anyone know what usually breaks in the PSU? caps?

RE: My ORIGIN 200 has died
I don't know what component failure causes the three flashes, but FWIW i had the same symptoms on my O200's. I have owned a total of seven of these (three pairs were craylinked) and all of them had failing power supplies sooner or later.

It's possible that there are bad caps in the power supply. At your own risk you can diagnose and exchange these, but you really should know what you are doing.

If there are any experts on O200 PSU's i'd love to hear from them
