That's impressive, both because you've actually got a firewire card reader, which is something that I really wanted when USB CF card readers were slow as a wet week and you've got it working on an Octane.

I did have a red adaptec 4300b working on an O2 reading a DVD, IIRC it read mounted and successfully but ejecting and changing to read another was fraught and needed a reboot.
