Hi,

Sharp's X68000 series was one of success personal computers in Japan using Motorola 68000. My first personal computer is the X68000 Expert HD which has 40MB SASI HDD. Recently I restored my X68k, and run with HDD virtualization (変換番長 Pro, Henkan-Bancho Pro).

X68k Spec:
CPU: MC68000 compatible one (Hitachi's)
ADPCM: 1ch (8ch driver by time-sharing is available, called PCM8)
Main Mem: 2MiB Base up to 12MiB (I extend to the max)
Video Mem: 2MiB (?) allocated
Graphics:
256x256 pixels : High-Color (16bit color)
512x512 pixels
HDD: SASI 40MiB (after EXPERT HD, it was replaced with SCSI)

I replaced the SASI HDD with the Henkan-Bancho Pro which supports SASI drive emulation with flash memory of CF card.
I have MIDI card and Roland's MIDI device (see right side in the picture).

I think that the emulation box is a neat idea, but I wonder the cost? didn't see a price listed.
