it is hard to use indy on mame without using commands because you cant set the chd by using the mame program

but i've made an very useful solution: its called indy mode, if you dont know how it works i'll show you, as you can see indy mode is a .bat program that is 100% free virus if you open indy_mode.bat (or anyname.bat) it uses the same command to set chd as hard disk and what about making one?

no worries

just make an new notepad file copy this command: [Mame]/mame64 indy_4610 -gio64_gfx xl24 -hard1 irix00.chd, and then replace [Mame] where mame is (note that shortcuts: desktop, downloads, etc will not work, so you need to go to C:\users\[your username]\[Mame folder] and copy the address and replace [Mame]) and replace the 00 on the irix00.chd to the version you have for example i have i
rix62.chd so i need to replace the 00 to 62 and once finished, click on files > save as and select all files and change the save name to [anyname].bat you can replace [anyname] to somthing cool like: Indie or SGI_indy or I_Love_Indy but if you dont what to name then just call it indy_mode.bat, once you save please test the file if it opens up than congrats!!! if not, maybe look for the problem, long tutroial? i know! but hey its not hours
so that is it and i'll see you again on my onyx 2 rack
