Amazing find. I just don’t see anything like this ever. I am from U.K. but live in UAE now and there is not much of a flea market here. Indeed, finding new kit can be challenging despite being a very technologically forward country.

For me I think next I’d like a Challenge S as to have as an always on machine. Actually, that can be a question for the gurus.

You're asking for trouble if you ever turn an O2 off ! That's when they always die, at least for me.

O_o? I turn my car on and off several times a day due to my job as a food taxi. She does like to cruise along the interstate, tho.

I'm running a Challenge S here... current uptime is only 13 days...but I only got it a few weeks ago!
It's silent, and sips power (and currently acts as my personal mail server). Assuming the power supply is in good condition (and you're not worried about the Sony power supplies cooking the thing) I can definitely recommend it. Only thing to note is that for an OS installation assuming network install, it only works on the AUI port ethernet, NOT the normal rj45 on the IOPLUS board, so make sure you have an AUI<->RJ45 transceiver.
