I'm currently animating this scene!

I've given the camera a path to follow, while focusing on the controller as it drops onto the table and bounces.

To achieve this, I've converted the controller into an active rigid body (with a bit of bounce, as plastic would have) that's subject to a gravitational field. I've converted the table surface into a passive rigid body, allowing the controller to bounce.

In order to allow the controller to come to rest, the rendering consists of 130 frames, which are currently rendering at 1024X768!

Looks cool. I miss my SGI machines.

I FFF'ed up with the render settings, so I'm now re-rendering at 800x600 to a .mv format! (7-hours of a Tezro running at full blast wasted!!!)

This should take just over 3-hours according to my calculations!

I'm not promising anything, but I might model my beloved PS3 and use the boomerang controller to knock as series of them down like dominos!

I like the dark glossy table top. Looks like a fresnel fall off in the reflection. Very classy feeling.
