What game are you currently playing?

RE: What game are you currently playing?
I've just finished God of War and it was a pretty good game!

Now that I'm finally finished with the last generation titles that I have, I'm going to make a start on Demon's Souls!

I'm currently playing the PS5 Demon's Souls remake and have just killed the Flamelurker!

It's a really cool game, even though it's extremely difficult!!!

I've had to do allot of mining to get my character's experience up! (monotonous, but necessary!!!)

RE: What game are you currently playing?
I haven't been gaming recently, up until the release of Cyberpunk 2077. I always try to pay for CD Projekt Red, considering they are one of the better game studios in the AAA market. This game really pushes systems, as it can weigh down a Ryzen 9 with 3090 on max settings. I managed to get 40fps on my machine, on all settings on low. That being said, If you want to play this game, wait a bit until the bugs get fixed.

I'm now done with Demon's Souls! It was a very cool game, featuring the best graphics I've ever seen in a game!

This is where it ended for me! (I finished the game and then went through the second play-through until I killed the Flame Lurker for the second time and was able to forge "The Northern Regalia", The best sward in the game!)

I'm old school... There's only about 30K of games on it. Just need to get my original Tron joystick hooked up.

RE: What game are you currently playing?
Yesterday I bought and started playing "The Last Guardian"!

I played up until the point where you get a flashback as to how you and "Trico" happened to arrive in the cave that you find yourself in at the beginning of the game! (So a fair amount of playing for one day!)

It's a really great game and plays well on the PS5! I did patch it, as I prefer to play with the highest fidelity that I can! (As if you don't patch it, it runs at a solid 60FPS on the PS5!)

It's been a great game so far, although the game mechanics aren't the best, so you do find yourself becoming annoyed at some points due to the seemingly "sloppy" control that you have over your character!

Although a very different game, its architecture reminds me of that found in "The Dark Messiah" (Also a great old game, which I really wish Ubisoft would produce the sequel to, as it's about time!) [Enough Assassins Creed already!!!!!]

RE: What game are you currently playing?
Been playing Cyberpunk 2077 since it was released (yes, with bugs and all). As a big fan of the genre since the mid-eighties, there was no question about trying it out. Found it disappointing, bugs aside (and there are a lot). I was hoping it was more immersive and RPG-like than it turned out to be, and too much of the game really became annoying after a short period of time.

I'm now trying out Final Fantasy XIV, which my daughter plays as well. I'd really like to get back into an MMORPG (played WoW for just under 10 years, from the introduction of Burning Crusade) with a strong story, current graphics, less emphasis on PvP/raiding/combat, and lots of crafting, customization and role playing potential. It's also one of the least-toxic online game communities with lots of support for new players. I love the mentoring system they have in place, and wish that other games publishers could integrate that aspect into their games.

RE: What game are you currently playing?
I was planning on giving Cyberpunk 2077 a look see once all of the issues were sorted out, but the more I've heard about the game the less interested I've become!

I'm a big Fallout, Stalker and Metro fan! I really like post apocalyptic titles, but Cyberpunk 2077 seems to have elements that don't appeal to me (Grant Theft Auto elements, and I really don't like GTA), and I've become rather picky as to which titles I play in recent years!

For the life of me, I'm sick of Assassins Creed, but I've heard good reports on Valhalla, so I'll eventually get around to it! The next big title on my list is "Returnal", as it looks to be rather interesting!
