From the man page on setmon:

-s syncselect
Specifies the source of the sync signal. syncselect is any
combination of r, g, b, and a to represent the sync signal on the
same combination of the red, green, blue, and alpha video cables.
If  syncselect is n, the sync signal will be generated on the sync
cable. If syncselect is not specified, the sync signal will default
  to the green cable.

Hopefully that will help solve some of the issues you're running into. If anyone else has more insight or other experiences, please chime in!

Unfortunately, this didn't make any difference on the O2. No change in -s n , -s a , -s rgb values made any difference to the green tint or the voltages on the R, G and B channels. As it stands the G channel reads 1.2V vs ~0.7V on R and B. With the little doofer I built the voltages all sit around ~0.7V.

Ahh, that’s too bad. I was hoping you might be able to get what you were looking for with a software tweak.

Learned something new though!
