AIX Device Driver Source

AIX Device Driver Source
AIX 4.1.3 was leaked awhile back on the web, but I need 4.1.5 - 5.1

Is there any other source code available that might be be out there?

Specify looking for the source code for the San Remo IBM network card 8f62 MCA

Thank you.

Please don't ask for source code here like that, we aren't allowed to share stuff that is proprietary under US law. I can get in major trouble.

You'll want to look up driver code manuals for AIX.

Yes I'm familiar with the manuals. They are on the 4.3.3 Extended Documentation CD.

IBM conveniently leaves the referenced source code methods out.

I've formally written to IBM licensing. No response or direction.

According to the IBM website, in 1997 they were charging $795 for the driver for that card, yikes! 🥹

vishnu, do you you have a link to that?

Yes it is an interesting card. The patent for the bridge chip IBM invented to bridge MCA to PCI bus is below. The plan was to build PCI daughter cards but the san remo is the only card I know of to use it. There might have been more in the works.

Yes but it's not very useful in terms of code or a binary to drive the card:
