IRIXDiVX on 6.5.30
Sorry for the bitmap, BUT I managed to get IRIXDiVX working with End of Evangelion.

It runs like a retarded two-legged horse on MPEG-2 at 480p on an SE/no TRAM Octane2. I just did this for the hell of it. Once I have my V12, i'll document this. For now, feast your eyes.

I could never find a DivX movie compatible with IRIXDivX, except for the short THX Simpson clip.

I still have a set of Evangelion original dvds. Before End and the new Four Part series.

One of my all time faves.

I did reencode these from a blu-ray release, and ripped out the audio tracks and setup hard subs, but yeah, it was a reference test.

Okay, so I obviously confounded you I guess. Let me try again:

I have the Evangelion DVDs

I threw them into a Windows reencoder (XMedia Recode) and changed them to MPEG-2 video/mp3-audio.

MP4 isn't in here. IRIXDiVX is just the name of the program.
