Who's got the really big iron?

RE: Who's got the really big iron?
CPU speed doesn't seem to be a major limiting factor here because we're building parallel build.

RE: Who's got the really big iron?
I love big iron SGIs

I have these two Origin 2000 in storage. They can be linked together (I have done it),
but then I can't run anything else in the house on electricity :-)
Also, the electric bill would be ridiculously high.

universe1 4# hinv
32 250 MHZ IP27 Processors
CPU: MIPS R10000 Processor Chip Revision: 3.4
FPU: MIPS R10010 Floating Point Chip Revision: 3.4
Main memory size: 5120 Mbytes

universe2 8# hinv
32 400 MHZ IP27 Processors
CPU: MIPS R12000 Processor Chip Revision: 3.5
FPU: MIPS R12010 Floating Point Chip Revision: 3.5
Main memory size: 12288 Mbytes

I have another computer in storage that would be more power efficient, but still expensive to run for longer periods of time.
It is in a Onyx4 half-rack cabinet so it is "easy" to handle.
O300 10# hinv
24 600 MHZ IP35 Processors
CPU: MIPS R14000 Processor Chip Revision: 2.4
FPU: MIPS R14010 Floating Point Chip Revision: 2.4
Main memory size: 22528 Mbytes

Maybe it is not feasible, but could there be some setup where they don't have to run all the time? Just during "compiling session".
I guess during writing code you want access to the computer all the time to be able to debug efficiently.

We have Terrh's origin running on the weekend. Your system, if you would be kind enough to let us use it, may be useful during -RELEASE builds where time is of the essence, however.
