What do I need to set up my O2 for C++?

nekoware is the best collection of software. Didbs has some stuff that nekoware doesn't, like newer GCC versions, but I've not seen the author around here in over a year. There's other efforts, afoot, which I won't name, but they're currently experimental, and they fundamentally change the experience. I'd go as far as say that there's some detriment to the overall experience in how it's currently setup.

Technical problems should be sent my way.

Sorry for the delay, I can't tear myself away from watching the trainwreck that is the United States. Unbelievable.

Anyway, I think I was wrong, 6.5.23 is the last good one. After that they threw out support for Display Postscript, buried the good fonts under a pile of third-rate shit, changed the postscript viewer to some other woeful pile of stinkypoo, screwed up Framemaker, Illustrator and Photoshop, and replaced a sensible, performant printing subsystem with the rotten leavings of a diseased hyena. Probably some other stuff I've forgotten as well.

Pretty much destroyed the SGI user experience, if you want the condensed version.

btw, I found out years later that ditching Display Postscript was Adobe's demand, not something they did on their own. One other reason to take the useless Adobe scum out and tar and feather them, before throwing them into the pond to see if they float.

6.5.23 she be good.
