Infinite Reality and Origin 2000

Infinite Reality and Origin 2000
I've managed to locate an Infinite Reality graphics rack (consisting of a KTOWN, 256meg memory expansion and a single graphics board with 2x 13w3 + composite outputs) The plan (once I've replaced the blow cap in the rack PSU) is to hook this upto our Origin 2000 to add graphics capabilities. The IR rack unit original came from a Origin 350 setup.

Thankfully we also have an LEGO XTOWN in the Origin 2000!

My main question is :- Is the XTOWN output from a Origin 2000 going to be compatable with the KTOWN on the IR rack? The books seem to suggest it should be and seem to use the K and X interchangeably, and the plugs seem to be physically comparable. Despite being the server version it seems to detect and be happy with the XTOWN card being present.

Hi James,

Yeah, it'll be compatible AFAIK. I had an O2k Rack with a separate Onyx module.

If you're in the US, especially east coast area, I have a TON of Origin2000 related shit I need gone. Message me if you're interested, we'll work out a deal.
