Fuel SCSI cable surgery

Fuel SCSI cable surgery
I have in my possession not one, but two Fuel internal SCSI cables that have damage preventing them from working. They're delicate, rare, and pricey to replace.

So I was wondering, has anyone tried prying off the cable's motherboard connector and crimping to another SCSI cable? It seems like it should be straight forward, but I was wondering if anyone has tried this already before cannibalizing a cable.

Nope! The Fuel has a proprietary connection end on the motherboard side.
