Hi there SGI/MIPS users,

I am looking for help regarding the following:

Signal: Segmentation fault in Scope Setup phase.
Error: Signal Segmentation fault in phase Scope Setup -- processing aborted
c99 ERROR:  /usr/lib32/cmplrs/fec died due to signal 4
gmake: *** [Makefile:743: libpkgconf/pkg.lo] Error 1

There is a strange signal 4 error compiling with MIPSPRO


I don't know exactly what this error means but it pops up a few times.

It is important this is resolved. any ideas would be appreciated.

For reference, this is during PKGCONF (not PKG-CONFIG, different project) and does NOT appear during GCC compilation.

We've already checked it out with par which didn't give any additional helpful info.
