Before Geocities and FortuneCity stopped hosting webpages, someone obtained a backup of many sites hosted there.
You can search the archived Geocities pages under:

For Fortunecity, there is also a directory of the archived pages:

It is easy to waste an hour browsing these ancient and frankly speaking mostly quite bad pages using Netscape 4.X and helps remembering how the web really was at the turn of the millennium.
This page also collects links to ancient webpages of which most still work with IRIX 6.2 and the Netscape browser that came with it.
